Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this K-Source Electric Passenger Side Replacement Side Mirror. Now, this mirror is going to fit your 1988 to 1993 Dodge Ram Pickup and Dodge Ramcharger. And as you can see there I am also including the original equipment number. Now this is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. So you're really not going to be able to tell that it is a replacement mirror.
It's going to look like it came with your Dodge right from the factory. It features a durable plastic housing with this chrome finish, and like your original mirror, this mirror has the power remote capability so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside of your Dodge. But you do wanna keep in mind, that the power remote capability is only possible if your Dodge is already capable of doing that. So if your original mirror could do it, this mirror will be able to do, this mirror will do it as well, but it won't add that functionality to your Dodge if it doesn't already have that feature. This OE-grade convex glass with first-surface plating reflects clear images.
The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome, and that convex lens is going to provide a wide-angle view that reduces blind spots. This also features a breakaway design that's going to allow the mirror to fold in if you happen to accidentally strike something to deter breakage or damage. And this is going to be an easy bolt-on no-drill installation. It's going to use the same footprint and the same mounting points as the factory mirror that you are replacing. And this mirror will plug right into your Dodge's existing electrical wiring.
